Engineering & construction

Two companies. Clearly defined responsibilities.

Vest Construction Inc. (VCI) provides field documentation, measurements, construction estimates and construction services. Vest Engineering Inc. (VEI) performs structural evaluations, engineering analysis and repair design. Engineering opinions and recommendations are issued by VEI under the seal of the engineer of record.

VCI and VEI are under common ownership by Stephan Tremblay, P.E., S.E.

Project documentation

A record that connects the findings to the work

The deliverables are tailored to the assignment and conditions found on site. Engineering reports and design are issued by VEI; field records, estimates and construction are provided by VCI.

  • A sealed engineering report
  • A room-by-room photo register
  • Roof framing surveys
  • 3D damage models with version history
  • Xactimate estimates whose line items tie back to the report
  • Supplements documented after exposure
  • County inspection records
How we work with you

Clear documentation, prompt responses, joint inspections.

We meet public adjusters, carrier adjusters and their engineers on site for joint inspections, share findings as they are documented, and answer questions promptly. We do not act as a public adjuster, negotiate or settle claims, or guarantee outcomes.

Our work includes large-loss restoration, new construction, major renovations, additions, structural repairs and retaining walls. We coordinate the engineering and construction responsibilities while keeping each company’s role clear.

See the documentation behind the scope

Four excerpts from a tree-impact structural assessment show how findings, framing records and photographs fit together.

Identifying client, carrier, claim and private report references have been removed. These are illustrative excerpts, not a complete sealed report or documents for construction.

Structural assessment

An organized overview of observed conditions, impact paths and the next investigation steps. Engineering findings by VEI; field documentation by VCI.

Executive summary

VEI’s engineering findings connect the observed damage to the structure, with references to the supporting report sections.

Member-by-member framing survey

VCI’s attic survey identifies individual rafters and distinguishes documented damage, inspected members and areas not visible for inspection.

Room-by-room photo register

VCI’s numbered photographs pair locations with written observations so the file can be reviewed alongside the engineering findings.

Featured case study

From roof impact to foundation investigation

A 114 ft oak struck a two-story home. The project record included a survey of 223 roof rafters, a photo register and a structural model connecting the affected areas.

Tree Impact: Interactive Structural Model

Public case study visualization. Client identifiers, private report pages and property boundaries are omitted. This model is not a sealed engineering report or a construction document.

Working together

Clear scope. Defined responsibilities. One coordinated team.

  1. 01

    Define the assignment

Discuss the property, your role, the questions to be answered and the records available. Confirm the requested engineering and construction scope.

  2. 02

    Assess and document

Coordinate site access and joint inspections. VCI records field conditions; VEI evaluates structural questions and develops engineering findings where engaged.

  3. 03

    Plan and deliver

Connect the repair design to the construction estimate, then coordinate permits, construction, inspections and close-out records as included in the project.

Partner questions

Before we get started

Who should contact Vest?

Public adjusters, carrier adjusters, attorneys, property managers, builders and developers with a project needing construction documentation, structural evaluation or construction services in Central and North Georgia.

Can engineering and construction be scoped separately?

Tell us which services your assignment requires. VEI provides structural evaluations, engineering analysis and repair design; VCI provides field documentation, construction estimates and construction. The engagement defines each company’s responsibilities.

Do you adjust or negotiate insurance claims?

No. We provide engineering, documentation, estimates and construction services. We work alongside the homeowner’s adjuster or public adjuster without adjusting, negotiating or settling claims or guaranteeing outcomes.

How should we share confidential records?

Use the inquiry below to introduce the assignment without attaching private records. Our team will coordinate an appropriate way to share project documents and arrange access to any private project model.

Partner inquiry

Let’s discuss your next project.

Introduce your company, your role and the assignment. For a general partnership inquiry, describe the kinds of projects you work on. We’ll follow up to discuss scope and next steps.
